R.E.A.C.H.
Radial | Empathetic | Acceptance | Connection | Harm Reduction
The R.E.A.C.H program provides peer-case management services to youth aged 16-29 who use substances. This can look like:
Substance use/addictions counselling
Harm reduction strategies & gear
Goal setting
Community referrals
Getting ID
The program is peer-led, meaning that each Peer-Case Manager has experience with substances, justice involvement, mental health, and/or homelessness.
While 1:1 meetings are at the core of R.E.A.C.H., there is also a weekly Harm Reduction Group every Thursday, which is a welcoming space where you can build life skills, express yourself through art, connect with others, and take part in group outings and activities that support growth and community.
Outside of being peer-led, R.E.A.C.H. is unique in its flexibility - not only can our Peer-Case Managers meet clients out in the community as well as at 150 Gloucester, but we also offer phone and virtual appointments - meaning that we truly can meet you where you’re at.
